Walking Horses

Shelbyville , Tennessee - One thing about Tennessee are the Tennessee Walking Horses. They are beautiful animals with a special gait that makes them unique. This years competition in Shelbyville has also become unique. The rich have made this years competition a whos who with money. They have flaunted their monetary affluance to change the entry rules to keep out some of Tennessee's best horses and riders just so they can win. Afterall , this being Tennessee , it's just another " good ole boy network " , or , call it another political avenue. Or call it whatever you want. This years competition is rigged and the news media can't touch this.

Here's the update on this years competition. For the first time ever , the show was shut down. There were too many sored horses. That's why some folks were kept out of the show. Their horses were not sored. One horse was seen in distress due to chemical burns which were to make the horse dance like a winner. It's way past time to shut this sham down. Years ago , The Tennessean reported this and everyone let things cool down before going back to buisness ass usual. Maybe those trainers should let the horses sore them and let them get a feel for what it's like to be tortured.

Comments:
I like to ride horses!

You should ride a Tennessee Walker. They are awesome.

Then I have to visit Tennessee!

Come on over. I'll take you to some folks I know and you can ride the Walkers

Are you kidding?

I wish I could!

I was told that Tennessee is a nice place, isn't it?

I know some folks that would enjoy showing off their Tennessee Walkers and even take you around town to meet everyone. Tennessee is growing faster than the politicians can control. So , the beautiful back hills are being logged out of existence to make room for more roads and houses. If you want to experience the real Tennessee and real southern hospitality , make it quick before it's all gone. With all the war and other problems around the world , more and more people are moving here
